The Wind Garden

Some people cultivate a flower garden or rock garden—I have a wind garden. My wind garden is made from LEGO, shown in the video above, with both a vertical axis turbine and a horizontal axis turbine. Designs for these turbines are from the recently released book “LEGO Wind Energy,” published by Apress (https://www.apress.com/us/book/9781484244388) now available at on-line book sellers. The spinning of the turbines is decorative enough, but the energy from the turbines can also be put to use. I use the turbines to charge a battery that in turn powers a set of LEDs, as in the video below.
